Ridersite Castle Barge Meet:
Ridersite has it's second Castle Barge meet up of 2010 on Sunday 16th May.
All are welcome .... you don't need an Aprilia to be there (I even took a Mazda last year).

Arrival details etc will be posted once someone has decided on them but they're mere details.
More information - including the location can be found here: http://www.castlebarge.com/

This Thread:
You don't have to sign up to come and signing up doesn't commit you to being there but it's nice to know who is probably going - and it also helps people to meet up and ride together (should they want to).
So post up on this thread and I'll keep this first post updated with the overall status.

So to get this started ... I plan to go - maybe I'd better mention this to my mrs before too long .... :smt003
The following attendees wrote:"We're planning to be there"
1) D-Rider + Ted (probably) on his VFR
2) Aladinsaneuk
3) Jadaris
4) fastasfcuk + a couple of others
5) Olig7475
6) Firestarter
7) Woodbutcher
8) Falken
9) DavShill
10) Shootmyscoot + touring party
10) Probably Okamoto
11) Hopefully Tweaker
12) Mangocrazy .... unless he comes up with a half-decent excuse
13) Yellowduck (parking with the non-Falcos)
14) ThEGr33k (from AF1)
15) Possibly the Bike Medic Brothers with some strange, little-known Aprilia model

There may be a mille (the Bike Medic) and his two bruvs. I warned him to watch out for cannibals. :smt002

makes mental not to take some tools....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Weather forecast not wonderful ..... but it's better than it was
Yesterday was showing Heavy Rain - this morning I looked again and we're down to showers.

Getting better all the time :smt003

... and for a group that's ridden through the worst that the weather could manage for the Durham weekend, Newark a couple of years back and Nooj's Firework do the year before last .... this will be a breeze ..... probably ...

add tyre kicker to the list - his trumpet is coming along with jadaris and myself

and would really help him if some one can take along a futura as well....

Nice to see everyone

My ready-reckoning made the tally:
8 Falcos
  • Aladinsaneuk
    Davshill
    D-Rider
    Falken
    Fastasfcuk
    HowardQ
    Jadaris
    Olig
2 Triumphs
  • Tyrekicker and pillion (and, to my shame, I've realised I didn't discover her name .... sorry)
    Woodbutcher
Weather was good ..... the A46 was just miles and miles of roadworks and speed restrictions ..... and I still can't ride far without my ribs hurting :smt012

Still - good to see everyone again .... I think some took some pictures so I guess they will be posted up soon.

Oh ..... and I seem to have got away with it ..... Hanna didn't slap me once :smt003
