We will have full use of the clubs facilities for the day:-

Club house opened each morning for use of changing facilities and hot showers, toilets etc.

Ample space for camping and dispay area.

As usual we will have dealers, suppliers and sponsors setting up on the day - full details available shortly.

Please put the date in your diary and try to make it - its always a great day out and if you can stay over it is a lash up not to be missed!
this is open to all all, non members included - I know that I joined the club at the 2007 meet so....

Would be nice to have a few falcos there - perhaps even to beat the mighty target of 11 set by the Newark meet :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yep - we should aim for a good tun out.

This event tends to be "open to all" so don't worry if you don't have an Aprilia (yet)

so

late last night, I disturbed the wife - she had just fed the boy and was just snacking - well she had just had a small suckling pig as a light snack and was picking her teeth clean

(Not a pleasant sight that - teeth in one hand, flick knife in the other but there you go....)

"Second may bank holiday" I said

"yes" she replied

"I am going to the national aprilia meet"

"I do not know if I am working" she replied

"If you are, then you have pleanty of time to swop it - and, its only in bedford so you can bring little man along for the afternoon... is only a couple of hours drive on your broomstick...."

she just smiled

This morning I woke up to find the longest melon list in the world....
Not sure of what a melon list is? Well, it starts with "Honey Do this, Honey Do...."

anyway, am off to work soon to book the annual leave

OK - time to start getting things organised for this next chance to meet up.

Let's firstly try to find out who's planning to go - then we can think about whether we just drift in or meet up to ride in together - or whatever ....

So, let's start making a list - please say whether you are a definite or a probable, a Saturday-only visitor or camping over
Who's Going:
D-Rider - attending and camping over on Saturday night
aladinsaneuk - definitely going - probably camping over
Paddy
Gio

Others?

Buggerbuggerbugger...

On Saturday 24th May I shall be mostly in a VW Transporter van travelling northwards through France. So I miss another Falco meet. This is getting to be too much of a habit...

Not sure if I can do this yet. My lad is moving to Brighton and I need to help him. May not know the plan until a couple of days before.

We have just decided that Bank holiday weekends are crap in our town business wise, I will be consulting SHMBO, as to my escaping for the sat-sun. TBO I see no obstacles as she can have a weekend in London with her family :smt003

This is presuming that in PC Britain we aren't all confined by order of the 1 eyed gimp cos of the Scottish swine bug. :smt002 :smt003

.... and an update ..........
ClubAprilia Forum wrote: Guys just to let you know most things have now been finalised for our get together in a couple of weeks time Thumbs Up

The great bunch at the Shillington Club have all the important stuff sorted for the weekend ie food and beer!

The club will be open from early afternoon on Friday 22nd for anyone wanting to arrive early and get their tents pitched up and relax with a couple of cold ones.

Friday night they are laying on a "local" homemade curry for everyone staying over.

The clubs shower facilities will be available in the morning to freshen up with separate shower blocks for male and female campers.

Saturday will follow the same format as previous years.

We are once again grateful for the support of Aprilia Performance - Griff will be there with his set up all day Saturday to answer your questions and offer technical support

Max Moto will be setting up with display of current Aprilia models including the new V4

This year we are also pleased to have TT Motorsports attending with their mobile dyno.

For a bit of friendly competition we will be having a dyno shootout with a prize for the best dyno run.

The Club shop will be be there as usual with our full range of merchandise should you wish to purchase any club branded goodies.

Again we will be having a raffle his year with some excellent prizes up for grabs.

There will also be a bbq on the go on Saturday to keep everyone fed and if you get the munchies into the evening there are a couple of local takeaways.

If you can make it along for the weekend, for the night or for the day please do come along it should be a good one

Everyone Welcome!

A dyno shootout :smt033 Methinks a side bet amongst the falco clan on who has max HP

Anyone care for a wager
