Some parts wanted..!

#1 Post by Zadix » Wed Jan 31, 2007 7:27 am

Thought I´d give it a try and see if anyone of you have some stuff for sale. Things I`m looking for are:

-Swingarm 04-> post recall
-Rear Öhlins shock (if swing found 04->, if not pre 04.)
-RSV mille indicators (the oval ones) or similar.
-Rear luggage (panniers) and tankbag (Falco orig.)

Thats it for now... :smt002 please don`t hesitate in contacting me if you have any of the above for sale.

Thanks!

I dont have anything on the list to sell you, but you may find the indicators you are looking for on the german ebay (www.ebay.de). They are about £30 for 4 incl. postage if I remember correctly. They are not genuine Aprilia parts but Ive had mine for about 3 months and the quality seems excellent (although the bike has not seen heavy usage the last 3 months given the big girl's blouse that I am :smt001 )

Thanks for your input! :smt023

I have seen the indicators at ebay.de, but I had the impression that it was the clear lenses only, not the complete housing?! :smt017 Will give it a closer look.

The tankbag you (Falken) bought, is it the original Aprilia? Did they have the rear aswell? Hopefully they will ship to Sweden..! (too bad that shipping is so expensive from the UK, triple the price compared to Germany for example..)

Thanks again, and keep em`coming! :smt003

Found something that lokks nice (never seen these before, and cheap!)

Nice find Zadix,

I also like the look of them but they are very very cheap though, and I'm having the "you only get what you pay for" thoughts

Although at that price and provided the postage to the UK is not too bad they might be worth a punt I wonder wghat the actual size is?

I've been considering buying a couple of sets of these myself, there not cheap but they look excellent (well IMHO they do)

Those Oberon indicators do look the biz, Rich - but, as you say are rather pricey!

I think they could also do with an LED stuck in the end of them so that you would get some indication from the side rather than just from the back and front.

.... but they DO look nice ...

FF,
Nice to be of service. I really like them as well although as DR says an LED at the end would help a lot. I e-mailed Oberon about the legality of the indicators and they said that although their bikes had passed the MOT with them fitted but they weren't "E" approved as yet.

If anyone is interested in the indicators that Zadix found, I have had the text translated :-

This pair of turn signals for Aprilia is original-packed load again and. It can be used in the exchange against the original turn signals and brings with its white klarglas one great optics. The turn signals can be used in front or in the back and are with the appropriate e-test character versehen(11 und12)-somit are entry-free them doing VG right and!!!!!!! The turn signals are verkabelt and become inclusive. Supplied shining means 12Volt/10Watt, thus they fit outstanding to all Aprilia Modelle.Durch the orangenen employment can completely conventional, original lamps be used. Here still some data: - arm length 30mm Thread 10mm Blinkerhoehe approx. 45mm Blinkerbreite approx.. 65 mm An auction refers always to Paar.Der price is pair price with the purchase of the several pairs only once dispatch is computed.

I have done some measuring and the size is just about the same as the original, just oval. The arm is maybe a bit shorter, dont know how they did the measuring.

I`ll order 4 and se if it`s anything to recommend... :smt003

They do look cool - waiting for the next update Zadix then just might order some. From the translation does it suggest there is no need for additional resistors :smt017

I cant seem to find them again... they look just like the ones on the RSV, clear covers over orange bulbs.

Those from Oberon look excellent! If the black/silver matches the frame black/silver then it will look like it was meant like that from the factory.

Syltiz, I do know which ones you mean, but I can´t find them either...strange. :smt017

As by the text (my german isn´t that good though) they`re made for and supplied with 12v/10W bulbs, which should be just the same as the ones originally fitted. So there should be no need for additional resistors.

Will keep you updated as soon as they are ordered and delivered.
