Right i keep reading abreviations like RTFM which from what someone else asked came to light what it meant...

can we use this thread to put down abreviations and what they mean please, has i am sure there is more than me that don't understand what is meant.......

Unless you know about carra rud then OTBC matters not
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No we're note. That is 'initialism'. A true acronym is a word - or pseudo-word - formed from the initial letters of a series of words, e.g. NATO, UNICEF, SONAR.
